Having problems writing a blog post that will get ranked on Google

I even have a hard time getting all the things that should go in to a post that has all the ingredients in to make a proper post. There are so many things that have to go into the post. This is where we will discuss that so by the end of the post I hope that you will have a little better understanding what all needs to go into the post to even get noticed by Google and get ranked.

If you stick to the end you will be able to download three templates that can help you with all the ingredients in a post. That is what we will be going over here everything in those templates.

Let’s first start with a outline of our post. So we know what we need to research and where things should be placed in our post. In the template it starts out with one question (WIIFM) What’s In It For Me. Have you ever heard of this before? You need to answer the question what will your audience get from reading this post? Also what is going to convince them this is important for them to know or learn.

For example I would say for this post WIIFM= You should learn how to put all the things that go into a post to help it get noticed by google and get ranked. Besides writing the post with the help of these templates, you need to have good content with enough words in the post.

After you do the WIIFM then you go on to the post format. What format will your post be in and why would it benefit your readers to be in that format. Like would a video do better for this post or maybe a list post. Many decisions to make for your post.

Next you want to do the introduction. Within the introduction you want to state the problem your audience is experiencing. For example, for this post the problem would be not being able to rank in Google. Next highlight three things your audience can gain or learn from this post. How they will solve their problem and tell them why they should read the post.

Next we get in to the body of your post. Header 1 with sub-headers under. Remember to rank in Google you need at least 1000 words to show Google you know about the subject. I may not make long posts all the time, and you don’t need to. Write for your audience sometimes too not always Google. I get traffic from Google everyday. I know I’m doing something right.

Then we need a CTA. Have you heard of this before? Think most of you have by now. Newbies may not know. Call To Action. This is what action you want your audience to take. Sign up for your email newsletter, share the post, go to this site for more information. Things like that.

Then if you want to add any sources and data to your post this is where you want to put this. Then last the conclusion. Summarize the main points in the post and add another CTA.

This is just one template out of three I have for you. Hope this summarizes how your you should write a post.

The copy template is basically the same but it adds the title take and meta description after your headline. This one gets a little more into SEO. Just touches base a bit on it til you get to the actual SEO checklist. Have to incorporate all that into the other templates. Which is not easy. People think writing a post is easy and that is something it is not.

Yes you can easily just type something. But if you want to get traffic, if you want to get noticed by Google. There is a lot of work that goes into a post. Do you agree? That is why I get upset with those of us that are actually doing the hard work. Coming up with our own posts. Then to see someone just use the transcription of someone’s(not even their video)video and use that as their post. What work goes into that. Copy and paste is not work it is stealing. I guess to each their own.

I don’t want to drag this out to much, when you can read it in each template and the checklist. I also have the link to download more.

So there are the three I had mentioned in this post. Should be able to write a really good post following these guidelines. Then if you want to download more like this, they are at CoSchedule and here is the link to them.

Then I’m not sure if you had noticed the new page I put up about OLSP. They have recently made a big change there with their mega funnel and I think you should go check it out . Helps anyone get a commission in 20 minutes. That page you can find here Please check it out. Want everyone to make their first commission in 20 minutes also.

So that will be it for today. Can see all the items needed to make a good post to get even noticed by Google. They want only the best and that’s just what you need to show them.

Hope you have a wonderful day or night and share this with anyone you know needs a little help writing their blog posts also. If you see yourself going up in Google share with me would love to see the results you have been making.

Stay safe.

Things to do before you hit publish on your post to drive more traffic

I have mentioned a lot of things you can do to drive traffic to your blog. I never mentioned the things you should do before you hit publish to help drive more traffic to your blog. There are a lot of things that you should do to drive organic traffic to your blog, let’s look into a few of them now.

  • Write evergreen content: What I mean by that is, write content that will be always relevant. If someone looks at this post a year or two later, will what you wrote still be true and still work?

Google will look at this as good content. If you can go to the article a year or two later and people still get value from that same article.

  • Interlink your articles: Meaning try to make it like a domino effect throughout your whole blog. After writing an article, try to get a link to an old post you made. If that post you linked to has a link to another post and it keeps linking more posts. The longer they stay on your site, the better it looks to Google.
  • Make sure your blog is mobile-friendly: That is self-explanatory. If you are on WordPress, it is already optimized for mobile. Make sure you check where you have your domain if it is also optimized for mobile.
  • Use a theme that is responsive: meaning a theme that loads fast. It also is responsive when opened by the reader and ready to go when the reader is ready.
  • Write unique content: The more unique your content is, the more people will want to read it. The reader will be glad they are not reading what they have already read on someone else’s blog. Even if it is slightly the same, try to make it a little different. Make the content you, if that makes sense.
  • Write longer content: Think this is also self-explanatory. I have been listening to some podcasts that mentioned this a little differently. It does not always have to be long content. Also don’t always write for google, SEO, keywords, etc. Leads to this next one.
  • Write for your audience: As I said, don’t always write for google. Look up see the questions your audience is asking. So that is what you can make a post about.
  • Use backlink: which is linking to other sites. Not any site. Vert popular sites( high domain authority) and that will raise your domain authority.
